Will the roll feel right?
Start with the putts you want to practice. We explain the turf, contours and care that affect pace and breaks. Ask to see comparable greens in use where possible—a still photo cannot demonstrate ball roll.

You are here because
You want to know whether a green earns its space or turns into an expensive novelty after the first month.
Between work and family, a grass green that needs constant mowing and care is not realistic.
Twenty minutes after dinner beats a long drive to the range, if the green is right there.
Prices vary widely and it is hard to tell what each one includes. You want the full scope itemized.
A soggy, patchy spot in the yard could become your favorite place, once the water issue is assessed first.
You want the kids, friends and the rest of the family to enjoy the yard too, not just you.
Real finished projects
These are real TurfMastro finished putting green projects from our gallery. They are not before and after pairs. Look at the edges, the fringe and how each green sits next to the lawn, then ask us to show you a comparable green on the visit.

How it works
We measure the yard, look at sun, shade and drainage, and show your layout and putt lengths with the full scope priced.
Old surface out, base shaped and compacted, then the green, fringe and cups installed by our own crew.
We walk the green with you, go over brushing and cleaning, and hand over the written warranty.
Straight answers

Compare a compact practice green with a larger short-game layout. Choose usable putt lengths and a size that fits your routine, not just an impressive-looking yard. We do not promise a lower handicap or a property-value return.
Putting turf sits in the sun like any other turf and can get hot. We plan around sun and shade and when you will practice. Evening sessions help. Read the heat guide.
An even surface depends on preparation: grade, compacted base and where water flows. We cannot prevent flooding, but your proposal explains the base work and how a low spot or seam issue is handled.
You see how the green fits the rest of the yard before work begins. If an HOA applies, check its rules first, especially for visible areas. We cannot promise approval. See the HOA turf guide.
The quote identifies the green, fringe, cups, contours, access, removal and any drainage work. Greens are priced by design, not by standard lawn rates. Request a free quote.
Brush it to keep the surface rolling evenly, and keep leaves and debris off, especially under trees. Chipping suitability depends on the system and the clearance around the green.

That depends on whether you will use it. A compact green you can step out to after work beats a bigger one you never visit. We can compare a compact practice green with a larger short-game layout so you pick what fits your routine. We cannot promise a return on property value or a lower handicap.
There is no single minimum. Usable putt length, the shape of the yard, and how much lawn or patio space your family needs all decide it. On the visit we measure and show you real putt lengths on a layout, plus what is left for kids, dogs and seating.
Synthetic greens differ in roll, pace and break depending on the turf, the base and how it is built and maintained. We do not promise course speeds. Tell us how you practice, ask to see comparable greens in use, and judge the roll for yourself where that is possible.
You can choose the layout, contours, fringe and cup positions, and we explain how the breaks are built into the base and surface. Final speed depends on the turf and installation, and we will not quote an exact number or match a specific course.
It depends on the system and the clearance. Some setups handle short chips and others are made for putting only. Tell us the shots you want to hit and we will check the turf choice, the space around the green and landing room before quoting.
It starts with site preparation: removing the old surface, shaping the grade and compacting the base so water has somewhere to go. We assess water flow on site and cannot prevent flooding. Your proposal explains the base work and how we handle a reported low spot or seam issue.
Often yes, but we plan around sun, shade, roots and debris. Trees give welcome shade and also drop leaves and send roots. We will not casually promise to cut roots or remove a healthy tree, and we will tell you what we see at the site review.
Yes. That is part of the layout conversation. We show how the green fits next to lawn, patio or pool so the family keeps usable space. If dogs share the yard, ask us about a pet area too, and keep pets off the green if you want the surface to roll evenly.
Less than a real grass green, but not zero. Keep leaves and debris off, rinse it now and then, and brush it to keep the surface rolling evenly. We provide a written warranty, and the coverage terms are in your written quote and agreement. We do not state a duration on this page.
