You are here because
You want facts before you choose.
The word on the label
“Eco” sounds reassuring, and you want to know what it does and does not tell you.
Documents that do not answer the question
A spec sheet describes a product. You want to know whether it speaks to PFAS at all.
Fibers, backing and infill
You want to know which part of the system any claim is about.
A yard your family will use
You want straight information from the installer, not a health promise.
Heat, drainage, upkeep
Material questions do not replace the plain facts about summer, water and care.
A quote that names the product
You want the exact product written into the scope you approve.
Real finished projects
Finished TurfMastro yards.
These are real finished TurfMastro projects from our gallery. They show finish, edges and layout. They are not before and after pairs, and they do not document the material or PFAS content of any product.

How it works

Free on-site quote and written scope
We measure, look at drainage and access, and name the proposed turf product in your written scope.
Removal, compacted base, premium turf
Old grass hauled away, base prepared with drainage, then turf installed by our own crew.
Final walkthrough and written warranty
We walk the finished yard with you, go over care, and hand over the written warranty.
Material information
Know the product.
Check the evidence.
Our Eco-line information focuses on Realturf Eco C, Eco D, Eco H, and Eco P. The official product pages and specification sheets below describe these products, but they are not PFAS test reports.
In the manufacturer pages and sheets reviewed on October 1, 2026, we did not find a PFAS-free statement or PFAS-specific test result. “Eco,” lead-free claims, general safety standards, and B.Pure treatment information are not substitutes for PFAS-specific documentation.
We are not presenting these products as verified PFAS-free. Ask for documentation covering the exact turf line and version. Fibers, backing, infill, and the complete installed system need to be distinguished.
A material claim is not a blanket health or safety guarantee. Product-specific documentation explains what was evaluated and the limits of the claim.
Straight answers
Beyond the material.
Heat
Turf gets hot in direct summer sun. Our standard installation includes cooling infill, which does not make the surface safe for bare feet or paws.
Drainage
Drainage is part of our standard installation, not a paid add-on. We cannot prevent flooding.
Upkeep
You skip mowing but still clear debris, brush and rinse. Pets mean waste pickup and regular cleaning.
HOA
Check your HOA rules and get written approval before you order. We cannot promise approval.
Ten questions before buying
Common questions.
What exactly is in the turf you would quote for my yard?
Ask us which specific turf line and version is proposed for your yard, and have it written into your quote. Our Eco-line information focuses on Realturf Eco C, Eco D, Eco H, and Eco P. Confirm current availability and the specific product in your quote.
Is Realturf Eco turf PFAS-free?
We are not presenting these products as verified PFAS-free. In the manufacturer pages and sheets reviewed on October 1, 2026, we did not find a PFAS-free statement or PFAS-specific test result. Ask for documentation covering the exact turf line and version.
What do the Eco spec sheets actually cover?
The official product pages and specification sheets describe the products, but they are not PFAS test reports. “Eco,” lead-free claims, general safety standards, and B.Pure treatment information are not substitutes for PFAS-specific documentation.
What documentation should I ask for?
Ask for a manufacturer statement and the supporting testing for the exact product. A lab result only means something alongside the test method, the detection limit and what was tested.
Do fibers, backing and infill need separate answers?
Yes. Fibers, backing, infill, and the complete installed system need to be distinguished, so ask what each document covers and what it does not.
Will you tell me which infill and base go into my yard?
Our standard installation includes drainage, base preparation, old-grass haul-away, a free design concept and cooling infill. Ask which infill and base are proposed for your yard, and request the product documents for them with your quote.
Does an Eco label mean the turf is safe for kids and pets?
A material claim is not a blanket health or safety guarantee, and we do not make health, child or pet safety claims for any product. Product-specific documentation explains what was evaluated and the limits of the claim.
What if the documents do not answer my questions?
Then you are in a good position to decide. Tell us what you need to see, and we confirm the product and the manufacturer documentation as part of your quote before you approve the scope.
What will my yard still need, whatever the material?
Material documents do not change the basics. Turf gets hot in direct sun, drainage is part of our standard installation and does not mean flooding is prevented, and you still clear debris, brush and rinse. Pets mean waste pickup and cleaning.
How does the free quote work?
We visit, measure, look at drainage and access, and write the scope and the proposed product down. Our own crew does the work, with no subs, and the written warranty is handed over at the final walkthrough.

Before you decide
Confirm it with your quote.
Confirm the exact product and the manufacturer documentation with your quote. Lab tests, methods and detection limits matter.
- 01
Exact product
Ask which specific turf line and version is quoted for your yard. Claims apply to selected new lines only.
- 02
Manufacturer documentation
Ask for the manufacturer documents that support the claim for that exact product.
- 03
Test method and detection limit
A lab result only means something alongside the method used and the detection limit it could reach.
- 04
What was tested
Turf fibers, backing, infill and the full installed system are separate things. Ask what the document covers.
