Real finished projects below

You may be here because

The space has to work on a schedule.

Downtime costs you

A project that closes an entry, courtyard or play area for too long is a problem for tenants and customers.

The same worn spots

Grass in high-traffic areas keeps wearing out, and you are tired of patching it.

An incomplete bid

You need base, drainage, removal and extras spelled out so the comparison with other bids is fair.

Who maintains it?

You want to know what your staff will do and who answers when something needs fixing.

A scope to share

You are bringing this to an owner, board or committee and need a clear written document.

The right fit for the use

A hotel entry, a pet area and a play area are different jobs and should not get the same lawn.

Real finished projects

Finished TurfMastro work.

These are real finished TurfMastro lawns and outdoor living projects from our gallery. They show our general finish, edges and layout. They are not commercial reference projects, so ask to review comparable work for your application.

We visit, measure, look at drainage, access and the surface, and review plans and specifications with you.

  2. Removal, compacted base, premium turf

Old surface out, base prepared with drainage, and turf installed by our own crew.

  3. Final walkthrough and written warranty

We walk the finished project with you, go over care, and hand over the written warranty.

Straight answers

What decision makers ask first.

Entries, retail and hospitality

Appearance matters year-round. We plan the layout, edges and transitions with you and review heat and shade for the spaces guests use. See the gallery.

Multifamily and pet areas

Pet areas need a base that drains and a cleaning routine from your staff. Turf is not odor-free. See pet turf.

Schools and play areas

Surfacing under equipment must be reviewed as a complete system with documentation, and compliance is not assumed. See playground turf.

Sports and training

The right system depends on the sport, the intensity and the schedule. See sports turf.

Bid completeness, heat and drainage

Our standard installation includes drainage, base preparation, old-grass haul-away, a free design concept and cooling infill. Pads, markings, substrate work and other trades or permits are assigned in writing. Cooling infill does not promise safe temperatures, and turf in full sun gets hot. Read the heat guide.

Ten questions before buying

Common questions.

Bring your use, plans, schedule and requirements to the site review.

Have you installed turf for a property like ours?

Tell us your property type and intended use. Before approving a scope, ask to review project examples and references that match your traffic, surface and maintenance requirements. The photos on this page are general finished lawns and layout examples, not proof of comparable commercial work.

Can you bid from our plans and specifications?

Yes, bring them to the site review and we will go through them with you. Commercial work is bid after a free site visit with a written bid. Please summarize your organization, role, use, ZIP, area and deadline in the quote form, and we will discuss plans and specifications at the review.

What is included in the installed cost?

Our standard installation includes drainage, base preparation, old-grass haul-away, a free design concept and cooling infill. Application-dependent items, such as pads, markings, substrate work and other trades or permits, are reviewed and assigned in the written bid. Cooling infill is not automatically appropriate for every assembly and does not promise safe temperatures.

Can you work in phases while we stay open?

Phasing is something we can discuss, and it depends on the agreed site-specific scope, access and your operating hours. Any phasing and schedule is confirmed in writing for your project, not promised in advance.

What drainage work will our site need?

Drainage is part of our standard installation, not an extra. On site we look at where water sits now, the slope, outlets and the surface being covered, and the bid states the work for your property. We cannot prevent flooding or promise all-weather use.

Which product and padding are you specifying and why?

It depends on the use, traffic, indoor or outdoor setting and the surface underneath. We explain the proposed turf, base, any padding and infill in the written bid and why each fits your application, so decision makers can review it. Pads and substrate work are listed with their scope.

What testing or documentation does this application need?

That depends on the application, your owner, insurer, school or facility requirements, and any local rules. Share the requirements early and we will review the product documents for the proposed assembly with you. Procurement requirements can be discussed, and nothing should be assumed to be met until you have seen the documents.

What does our staff have to do to maintain it?

Plan on clearing debris, brushing, and periodic rinsing. Pet areas also need waste pickup and regular cleaning, and heavier use means more care. Turf removes mowing, not maintenance. We go over the care tasks at handover and assign who does what in writing.

Can you provide insurance, references, and written warranties?

We provide a written warranty. For insurance and references, tell us what your organization requires and we will review it with you. Review insurance, comparable references and warranty terms for your intended use before you approve the project.

Who handles repairs, change orders, and final acceptance?

Our own crew does the work, with no subs, and a team lead runs the job. Repairs, change orders and final acceptance are assigned in writing in the bid. We walk the finished project with you at handover.
